This Privacy Policy explains how Archon ("Archon", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS app. By using Archon, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information you provide
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic account identifiers those services provide.
- Your content. The activities, time entries, categories, goals, and reminder settings you create in the app.
2. Information collected automatically
- Usage & analytics data. App interactions (screens viewed, taps, features used), app version, device model, operating system, and an approximate region/locale derived from your device settings. We also store a non-reversible form of your email domain for aggregate analytics.
- Identifiers. A per-install device identifier (Apple's identifier for vendor) and a Firebase app-instance identifier used to keep analytics consistent.
- Diagnostics. Crash reports and performance metrics (such as launch time, hangs, and memory) to help us find and fix problems.
3. Microphone & speech
When you log an activity by voice, Archon uses your microphone and Apple's Speech Recognition to transcribe what you say into text. This transcription may be processed by Apple as part of the operating system's speech recognition. Archon does not store your raw audio recordings.
4. Health data
If you grant permission, Archon reads sleep and activity data from Apple Health to show you insights. This data is processed to display information within the app. Archon never writes to Apple Health, and we never sell or share your Health data, or use it for advertising. You can revoke Health access at any time in the iOS Health app or Settings.
5. How we use information
- To provide core features — logging, categorizing, reminders, reports, and insights.
- To sync your data securely across your devices.
- To understand how the app is used so we can improve it.
- To diagnose crashes and improve stability and performance.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information. We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
6. Service providers
We use trusted third parties to operate Archon. They process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments:

7. Data retention & deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at ashutoshpandey.developer@gmail.com from your account email address. We will action your request within a reasonable time.
8. Security
Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and is tied to your authenticated account. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
9. Children's privacy
Archon is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
